Ginny Krumwiede

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Ginny Krumwiede spent nearly twenty years in the construction industry working with both builders and subcontractors.  Her experience is both on the job and behind the scenes in the offices, giving her a unique perspective on how the construction industry works.  She has set up and managed construction related businesses from floors (carpet, tile, vinyl, wood) to walls (drywall, wallpaper, paint) to aluminum extrusion, and framers.  Her experience also includes working as a builder’s assistant, overseeing the building of residential buildings while managing books, bankers, and inspectors, along with customers and government agencies.  She has pulled permits and understands the process from beginning to final Certificate of Occupancy.

Additionally, Ginny has the added bonus of being married to a residential superintendent with nearly forty years experience in both residential and commercial building.  He has built apartments, condos, houses, and retail facilities in Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, and Florida.  He knows all trades and uses Ginny as an extra eye in his houses to help him spot errors before they become problems.  His reputation is exceptional as a builder.

Ginny also has expert knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act, worker’s compensation, and lien laws.  She has worked with all three in various capacities within the construction industry helping find solutions to worker and contractor problems dealing with each area.

As a mediator/arbitrator, she has been working in education and recently put her skills to work in a business of her own, consulting for businesses that need help in resolving problems.  Her clients find their problems quickly assessed and solutions and plans provided that are professional.  She uses her respect for people and training in culture and diversity to help parties to find peaceful and satisfactory solutions.  Her expertise in widely-ranging areas of construction gives her a solid base for defining problems from small businesses to large corporations.  Her motto is: Conflict is normal, Communication is the key to resolution.
